Hey yo. I'm surprised at myself. I seriously thought my OOC journal would kind of splutter and die. Which it kind of did. But then it came back to life 2 days ago.
Anyways, the world is ending Wednesday afternoon.
Nunchucks hurt. Yeah. Owch. And Instructor-dear, making us do the damn form fifty times in a row is only ONE of the many possible ways to beat it into our heads. Along with the kendo stick. Thanks for that. That did my shoulder a whole bunch o' good. I swear, if this ends up impeding my nonexistent RPing, I will KILL. ...
...It's 1:30 am. And I have no idea why I'm still up writing my first entry to my OOC journal in 8 weeks when I should be doing aka BSing my homework.
I think RP is going to kill me someday. But that'd be a good way to go. As opposed to drowning in work and activities and schedules and stupid stuff...
WHAT IS UP WITH ALL THE CHARACTER DROPPING?!
Okay, I'm done now. I think I should post a..a...that feedback-y thingie that enables others to comment on how I play my characters... *is sad that no one responds to Kurama's posts anymore* *is also sad that Near hasn't gotten his donuts yet* *in contrary, is happeh that Enma Ai is here so Ren can plot to send a bajilion people to Hell...>8D*
No actually, the instructors just enjoy using it on us when we mess up. Or to practice dodging in sparring. I'm in Taekwondo.
Ouch. They hurt. And they barely do any damage to the actual opponent unless you use the wooden ones, which would hurt both of you. But it's only for the demonstration team anyway, so I guess they just made us learn it for effect.
Nyaaaaa! It's sad. Many great characters were dropped and a couple of great roleplayers left too. D:
They don't usually. Some studios might practice stick-fighting or basic kendo. Or just adopt the use of some random weapon or another. But I don't think they generally have many weapons. Sadly. *really wants to learn kendo*
Yeah, I think they just had us learn the nunchucks because 1) they're not as expensive to get in large amounts 2) they're easier to learn in a short amount of time. And the demonstration is probably only 3-4 minutes in length at most? It's mostly the form anyway...
Nunchucks are probably one of my least favorite of weapons.
School exams and so on, I assume, is what is largely responsible for the dropping.
